Michelle Sylvain, MBA, JD

Michelle Rabouin is a native of the state of Colorado. After obtaining graduate degrees in business and organizational development at the University of Denver and doing post-graduate work at Harvard, she spent 15 years excelling as a corporate manager and in-house attorney. In 2003 she moved to the public sector, yet continued working as a private business lawyer advising executives, administrators and other professionals on business matters and on how to transform human resources during times of change. She discovered that her passion was helping leaders increase income and career progression, while creating holistic, sustainable lifestyles. She is especially effective consulting with diverse organizations on ways to most effectively and strategically lead and deploy their best people.

Michelle transferred to Durango, Colorado three years ago drawn by the magnificent mountain views, outdoor lifestyle and deep spirituality of the southwestern part of the state. By 2008 she had found a way to combine her MBA, legal experience, and corporate expertise with her skills in persuasive language and leadership transformation and developed a results-based leadership and executive coaching model. She is now both an executive coach and General Counsel for Sylvain Dubois, LLC.

Michelle draws on broad life experiences as a journalist, corporate manager, law professor, and corporate attorney. She is an author, avid jazz fan, a hiker, nature photographer and camper. She has one adult son from a previous marriage, and is excited about getting remarried in June 2010. She enjoys getting to know every client and looks forward to getting know you.
